Used preve is very cheap, is it problematics? Good to buy? Anyone can share their stories?

Check age & mileage. If < 5 years, still got warranty.
Be prepared to spend on (1 time cost):
1) Mountings
2) Suspension (absorbers + mounts)
3) Rear upper arm

These 3 things break 1st, but once fixed, you'll love the ride.

By all means, go for Manual tranny.

Its a solid car , FC not good cause its a heavy car but its really a value for money car.

Right & right. But the CVT can do 140km/h @2000rpm. If you're on the highway mostly, you'll love this. Plus, if you get the TCU updated, it's much better than it was before.

What is the symptom of the problematic rear upper arm? Do you mean the kruk kruk sound from rear suspension?
*
Yup. Same sound as a busted front lower arm... sad.gif My car sounds like a drum concert now cry.gif

The peeve has a major design flaw.
Look at the headlights and front grill. Very flat looking and small headlights. Something not right
The back is too chunky as the car rises too steeply to the back.
The turbo engine performs just like a NA engine, I wouldn’t even call it a turbo, look at the spec, very slow and underpowered.
Don’t get me started with the cvt gearbox
No wonder you do not see any peeves on the road these days
Avoid this vehicle by all cost.

Wow... I bet you're on of Ferrari's designers. Such insightful comments... much to think of hmm.gif

I have a Preve Turbo version. Year 2012. Mileage 205k km. Running just fine. Remap + chipped roughly got 150-160HP , 220-240Nm.. smile.gif

Gang wink.gif Mine's also a 2012 car, and clocked 2015K KM wink.gif But less HP and manual sad.gif

Bro, I think he meant the Punch CVT on Preves. The CVT's area build by Punch Powertrain. Punch = "tumbuk"

cvt tumbuk or cvt punch (real name) is the preve gearbox. its not a problem but it is cvt punch nature. lag and delay whenever u wanna move ur car from stop for example at traffic light. u cant drive like how u did on normal 4AT car. u need to give it a time before u can move. this nature of cvt punch makes ppl think there are some serious problem in preve but actually it is not. ofcourse it is no longer a problem if u manage to tame it. give it a time then u know how to handle the car.

but, if u buy the mt version, u will not experience such issue.

Actually, the newer TCU updates help a lot... or at least that's what I heard lah
But I agree with you on the manual wink.gif

P/S: How come so many trolls on this thread? hmm.gif

Actually, if it can churn out a bit more power, it'll be nice. At least get the torque "up" sikit wink.gif
