QUOTE(Savor_Savvy @ Feb 26 2011, 02:36 PM) QUOTE(afsarudy @ Feb 26 2011, 05:13 PM) Of coz not 100% same la. But still they using Bandai's ori tree to recast the mold. And plastic quality also not same. Size is the same (almost 99.9%). Quality on the other hand... |

QUOTE(Suri^^ @ Mar 28 2011, 09:02 PM) nope!!!! its not bootleg as they are just applied the persona of nu gundam, and next creating they own runner, and create a nice item. and so on the resin part. we dont call resin part as bootleg rite? same cas with McModel. price? buy a lot rite now, and sell at a bit up when Mcmodel stop the production...i can called it is a RARE item I hope you understood the term "bootleg" before you even try to define it. Bandai never gave the licence to any other company (except to its subsidiaries and some selected Korean modelling companies) to produce Gundam related goods. Even though the China company created their own runners for the kit, they still have no right to sell it. |

QUOTE(edguy58 @ Apr 3 2011, 11:41 AM) Hey bros, I'm thinking of getting an ori RX-0 UNICORN (MG 1/100) priced around RM170, and an ori MUSHA MK-II priced around RM160. Could any bro kindly tell me: 1. Are these prices decent for these figures? Or can they be bought cheaper? 2. Are there any better grades, larger sizes, better model variations etc for these particular figures? Cheers. You're asking in the wrong thread. But here are answers to your questions: 1. Yes and if you look hard enough, yes. 2. Yes for Unicorn, no for Musha Mark II. QUOTE(edguy58 @ Apr 4 2011, 04:28 PM) You're welcome, mate. QUOTE(edguy58 @ Apr 4 2011, 04:28 PM) By the way, I came across a picture of a "Stirke Freedom Aurora" on Google Images. The original page which this picture and a few others were posted on seems to be gone, and I couldn't find any other information on Google. Overall, the design is very similar to that of the Strike Freedom. Has any bros seen this 'Aurora' version? Or is it some custom design by a collector? That is a custom. It was originally made famous by this modeller: http://f7.aaa.livedoor.jp/~mesarion/gallery/wsfm/wsfm.htm Have a look on how he modded his MG Strike Freedom. Very impressive work. |

Best to name it Unofficial Gundam & Mecha Modelling Thread.
I tried to change the original Gundam & Mecha Modelling Thread to Gunpla & Mecha Modelling Thread, but even then a moderator changed it back and gave me a warning. So i'm not so sure if we're allowed to change thread names. |

QUOTE(zheyuen @ Apr 20 2011, 11:28 PM) Check out nazrul90's mini review here. Not really sure if it's a good piece, but i see lotsa people are selling it assembled in Street Mart. And, it's wholly plastic. Not resin. |
