I was helping my cousin to set up the WEP Encryption to prevent other people for using their internet connection as they been complain about slow connection. The first setting was unsucessful, so I reset the device. After reseting, I was able to enter the setup & do the setting. After a while, the system was like the page can not be display & I was not able to login to the system.
I reset a few times & still unable to login to the system. Later I found out that the status light was not blinking. Is the device dead already? I only touch on the reset button only. It there any way else to check is the device still working or not, I hope that I don't have to send it back for warranty which mean have to wait for few months to get the device back.
sometimes the Status LED light goes missing after reset . Xworry, its just the LED burnt issue..
Now, u said U cant get into the system page right? Get me the model of the Router , so that i can know how to assist ya mate..

Th default config page wud be at 192.168.0.1
However, the OS wud have sumtimes set the IP in pc as to be static . To chck that , try ipconfig in command .. If ur getting any other IP address other than 192.x.x.x. range, means its at static.. U need to disable it..TO do that, u need to follow this :
- Control Panel - Network connections - Right click LAN - Properties - Internet Protocol ( TCP/IP ) - click on Properties
- Select Obtain an IP and DNS server address automatically
u can try hard reset, ie - pushin in da pin while router is off, switch on the router but keep pushin in da pin. After 5 secs of pushin pin after router is on again, take out da pin... check lights.. Shud be able to get into router config page
If you're still having issues, feel free to ask again in the forum..
