I have no comment on choices of dSLR, but personally, I'm using Pentax K10D, and of course, I just love it!

As for PnS, I'd advise you to look into Sony DSC-W series. They should be able to give you full manual mode (Shutter & Aperture priority as well as MF). But this was based on my experience on DSC-W1, not sure about current model. It's better if you go try it out at 1 of Sony's showrooms. smile.gif

Or wait for next PC fair, plenty of dSLR put out for demo, then you can test out various brands and models.

I also have my first hand experience on the Olympus' digital live-preview feature. Amazing. smile.gif
