Since PJng mention A series 2016 do have OIS, then i think A8 not suit for you if rear camera your main priority. A8 rom is only 32GB, A8+ meet your requirement which is 64GB but it need RM2k+ and too big for you.
Worth or not depends on your usage. For me, A8 have majority Samsung flagship features such as, infinity display, ip68 water resistant, back glass design, dual front camera for selfie, and samsung pay. The only difference i think only cpu, rear camera and edge display. Since i am not heavy gamer and don't really take photo often, i am satisfied.

After S9 released, already few frens thought i am using S9 when they first look from back of my phone.

A8 no OIS. A series never has OIS lah.

But their night photo not bad lah. Only front night photo can be slightly bad lah, but that's when you should on flash anyway.

i noticed after the latest update i seldom get VOLTE signal on top .. using digi btw

did the latest update on May and found battery drain heavily. Kindly please disable "Nearby device scanning" after update software.

Settings > Connections > More connection settings > Nearby Device scanning
