each university has its own English proficiency test anyway after you entered them

so just treat MUET as a requirement for admitting into that university of your choice

Nope. I got a Band 5 in 2012, barely scratching the border.

Please also do note that there was a format change sometime in 2011 or 2012. Back then the paper was easy, but after the format (which included dropping summary writing and objective questions in listening paper), it became much tougher and the score was much lower.

i thought my english is excellent but when i took muet exam during my final years of architecture degree i could only get band 4. sweat.gif it's pretty humbling. band 6 is not impossible but make sure you are well-prepared.
