Guys my X92
I installed the SuperU from google playstore and then I clicked install smtg beside the TWRP when the SuperU asked
Once downloaded it auto reboot the android box is not working anymore
After the booting sound, it shows the black screen with X92
Help!

why i press the button inside the av port and plug in the power
it wont boot into recovery mode
bought this tv box a month ago
i dont want to throw it away

Just turned on the box and opened updates form menu. It found it on ota... Also I reflashed it with thw firmware uploaded to mega.co and after that it found the build update...


A technical issue: i connected a logitech webcam to the box. Video calling in messenger worked but there was no sound, though it had an inbuilt microphone... Why is that?

its about the su binary issue, u need update it via TWRP. I facing that issue too, AMLogic burning tool always the magic helper

so theres is new firmware? if anyone find it please put the link here ok

What is the best launcher to replace the default rkm launcher? I installed my nova launcher prime (paid for it).. but it keeps closing. Any ideas?

Read on 4pda that new A7 has bug with microphone not working......

There is a way to install nova launcher mentioned in the 4pda forum as it involves patching some libraries into the system.
You would have to search it and you can ask for help there.

I am using lighthome. This is preinstalled.

You can go to settings->apps-> the rkm launcher app to clear the default. The other preinstalled launchers become available when you press home.

Tq for replying. Not only nova, but other launchers are facing closing errors, as if it prevents other launchers from running. Nevertheless, I will seek 4pda for further solutions.

And as for the auto framerate issue, where can I disable this?
The screen keeps flickering eg when I play live stream (from 1080p 60hz to 1080p 50hz, and vice versa once done). Never had this issue in android 6.

There is a program called 'automatic framerate configuration' or something alike. It's a simple GUI. Just configure, it takes effect immediately. No reboot needed.

Oh well, didn't like a7, and it couldn't detect any of my usb pendrives. So I revert to a6 via sdcard+toothpick method.

Got the stock X92 splash screen, and also the stock layout launcher (big google play button on the left side).. but, when i checked at about, the firmware retained android 7.1.2? Weird.. all the menu setting style is as per a7..

Now, the thing is.. i lost the top status bar and the bottom navigation bar. Any ideas?

Anyone here ever try to use PC-USB method to upgrade x92? Working?

It seems like my laptop (Win 10) and PC (Win XP) can't even detect x92.

Which USB port on X92 is used to connect the box to PC? It shld be the port on Top Right. But, I tried all 4 ports, none is working.

Need to press down the reset button? I tried too. Not detected.

Need to connect to power cord? Tried too. Not working too.

Could it be USB cable problem?

The reason why I use PC-USB to update the firmware is sdcard method fails.
I have tried the files (Samde V19 by @syumul, stock 20171211 by @stasio and mk22 by @puchongite; Tqvm, guys) provided above using sdcard method.
Only Samde v19 succeeded. Others fail.😭😭😭😭

Pls help me.

I assume u're trying to flash using the burning tool via pc, correct? All u need are..
1. X92 unit only, no need the power adapter
2. A toothpick to press the reset button
3. A male-male usb cable
4. The firmware image file u want to flash
5. The usb burning tool program

Steps I did..
1. Run the burning tool on pc. Change to english language.
2. Took the toothpick and pressed the reset button in the X92 unit, and while pressing it I connected the unit to pc with the male-male usb cable (use the top right usb slot).
* I have never connected the X92 to pc before this, so the first time it connected to pc (with the reset button pressed with a toothpick), windows detected and installed new drivers. Once installed correctly, the burning tool will successfully detect ur X92 unit.
3. Selected the image file, then clicked on Start, and let it finish.
4. Once completed, I clicked on Stop and then closed the burning tool.
5. Disconnect the X92 from the pc, then turned the X92 on, and wait for it to completely boot and load the home screen.

I managed to detect the box on my laptop now.
Don't know if it's usb cable or driver problem.
Coz I use a new Type A-A cable and installed a driver file I found online.

And anyone here try Poison ROM?

Somebody said only the usb port on the top right is working ( if the ports are facing you ).

I guess so.

My steps are as follow:-

1) Download and install Driver files and USB Burning tool from here. The USB Burning tool is standalone version, no need to install, but driver files need to be installed.

2) Connect the box to PC via Top Right usb port with a new Type A-A cable, press reset button and power cord plugged in. Suddenly, I just here my laptop detects the box.

3) Then, flashed the image file and done.

Edit: I can confirm that the power cord needs to be plugged in in order to get detected. And only the Top Right usb port is working.

Hi guys just got my x92 3gb. Works fine but I've a few questions if you don't mind.

1) Is there any way to access android notification? Tried swiping from top to bottom and nothing happens (in nova launcher).
2) How do I access recent apps, I'm using mx3 air keyboard btw. The recent apps button doesn't seem to work. Do I need to reprogram it somehow?

What android version is ur box? Is it android nougat 7.1.2? I've read that somehow the notification, status bar and bottom navigation bar is not accessible in android 7.. pls correct me if im wrong
