@puchongite i already flashed the..so far so good.. but my usb mostly not working. when watch movies always tv when black.. then restart tv hdmi back in up again with the movie all smooth but will happen agaib if i choose other movies. urghh frustrated

anyone know where to find the original firmware that come with the box? let me know ya Thanks all for helping

Did you flash the modified mk22 Rom or you stay with the so-called original x92 mk22 Rom ?

Tv went black could be due to the software tries to automatic frame rate adjust. The modified Rom has a software which disable frame rate adjust.

at 1st i do flash the mod with no erase flash and bootloader, but it freeze. or is it just no erase flash? will try flash with bootloader checked.

Install original with erase flash and install bootloader.

Boot up once.

Install mod without erase flash and without install bootloader.

@puchongite flashed.. still same problem. once tne tv when black i pull the usb. the hdmi come up again homebox appear. all usb port same problem.. all usb devices same problem. need to try other hdmi cable.

What TV frequency and resolution you used ? Can consider disable using best resolution. Use fixed frequency and resolution instead.

Is there a frame rate app in the system ? Bring it up and disable auto frame rate.

What is connected to the USB ? HDD ?

Also which player you used to play video on USB HDD?

The first time you plug a HDD to usb and try to play with MX player, it is very slow. This is because the player try to search all the files on the usb and give you a list. If you have a HDD in TB, it will be very slow. You have to wait.

i use lg the 4k one. i cant find the resolution option on the smart box.

frame rate i dont know about it.. but if u meant the motion frame then i already disable it.

player it the HDD 2 TB. before this upgrade it smooth no problem. no hiccup at all.

maybe i will try to install the stock version back to try something else

All the settings I mentioned are on the tv box.

i cant find the setting for resolution on the box, and all you mention nope.. cant see it hehehe

There is also another app called auto frame rate. Run it to disable auto frame rate.

Auto frame rate is a feature in the original x92 mk22 ROM. This feature is not found in other ROMs.

However based on many feedback, the auto frame rate implementation is causing more problem than benefit.

The modded ROM added the capability to disable it without using root to edit files.

Another feature of the modded ROM: it is pre-installed with Magisk and Magisk manager.

To run AstroGo :

1. Side load AstroGo apk.
2. Run Magisk manager, from menu goto Magisk hide, check AstroGo.

AstroGo now can run.

@puchongite hi bro..i think accidently uninstall the magisk..now when i install the manager..the magisk is not install. After that i click install select method only have download zip only and patch boot image.

Ive read on the internet i need to go to recovery and install zip file. But i cant get into the recovery with this rom with the reset plug method. 😂

Magisk and Magisk manager are two different things.

Did you uninstall Magisk or uninstall Magisk manager ?

If you uninstall Magisk manager, you can install again. Not much issue.

But if you uninstalled Magisk via Magisk Manager, then you can reinstall the modded ROM (uncheck erase flash and uncheck install bootloader), then magisk will be restored.

Important to uncheck erase flash and uncheck install bootloader !!! Most of your customization are retained.

Of course another way is to install via recovery/TWRP. But that is harder to do it correctly.
