It's not a macro filter but a close-up filter. The price depends on the size. The bigger the size, the more expensive it is.

The +4 is not the size of the close-up filter but the close-up factor of the filter. The size is govern by the diameter of the filter, ie. 52mm, 55mm, 67mm, etc.

I asked before a 55mm +4 Hoya Close-up filter during a business trip in Singapore and was quoted SGD15, IIRC.

grats man 50mm lense is an awesome lense.very useful for low light environment.but the trick is do not depend on f1.8 too much, try play around with 2 - 2.8 u'll still get great results!

Got it Rm45. Brand Hoya. If you have enough $$ u can get from +1 to +4 or upto +10 brows.gif ....

The popular one is +1, +4, +10...what i heard to high "magnification" will cause your pic quality distorted... ohmy.gif

Ahahah...go to Ampang Park 1st floor look for a booth name Leos Trading ( i think at least 10 years business there already).

Ask for the boss name Jeff, he is very very friendly.

Tell him u r recommended by a guy that bought Ixus 850IS from him 2 days ago...
