As a bass learner, I really enjoy this rendition because Robert's bass volume was tuned up and the producer mixed it well.

I hope the Master of Puppets remastered album has a clearer sound by Cliff's bass.

It is not about how trashy they sounds but when comparing among heavy metal songs, I would say Metallica songs are composed well. It is like classical music in heavy metal form.

The best voice for me is late Ronnie James Dio.

My bass role models are Flea and Steve Harris since the sound is so prominent compared to other bassists.

I don't particularly dig Soulfly.

SOGO, SULAIMAN COURT DAN BUMIPUTRA ROCKERS !

Setiap kali aku aku lalu depan SOGO, aku sering terkenang kenangan aku tengok konsert rock masa sekolah rendah dulu, pergh! Actually pertengahan tahun 80'an dulu dikenali sebagai zaman kebangkitan muzik rock kat Malaysia terutama bila ex-husband Allahyarham Datuk Sharifah Aini, Ali Bakar, buat konsert Battle of The Band (gabung rockers terkenal macam Rahim Maarof, Ella and The Band etc) pusing satu Malaysia.

Aku baru darjah 6 time tu.

Kalau korang nak tahu, Sulaiman Court tulah shopping complex SOGO sekarang ni!

Berbalik cerita pasal BPR ni, bila aku sampai KL, aku dengar kat radio diaorang nak buat konsert kat tapak Sulaiman Court tu. Bila flat di situ dah dirobohkan, tapak tu selalu dibuat konsert rock. Apalagi dalam diam-diam, aku keluar dari rumah sedara aku kat KL (tempat kami bermalam), naik bas mini sorang-sorang, terus pergi sana. Orang punyalah ramai tetapi sebab minat punya pasal, aku selit juga. Bayangkan punya seronok aku masa tu dapat tengok Joey (penyanyi BPR) nyanyi live lagu Seribu Tahun Takkan Mungkin. Nak dijadikan cerita, Ramli Sarip pun perform. Kenikmatan berganda! Nasib baik bas mini ada masa nak balik.

Sebab tu kalau bebudak sekarang dok cerita pasal rock, gua tak heran beb. Gua sekolah rendah lagi dah naik bas mini sorang-sorang gi tengok konsert rock hahahah. Sampai sekarang bila lalu SOGO...ingatan gua pasti mengimbau kenangan Sulaiman Court dan Bumiputra Rockers. Lu ada ?

To me, same with Metallica, the 1st 3 albums were top notch when Cliff was at bass, hitting pinnacle with Master of Puppets. They went downhill especially after the black album. None of their songs after that album appeal to me.

Went to see Metallica in Singapore in 2013, almost all of their set in that concert were from their earlier albums.

stopping at unforgiven was good enough. unforgiven2 was ...........unecessary.
i didnt listen to their newer album after black. i chose aerosmith and GNR for a while as replacement during their black alnum. i think it was called no leaf clover with the symphony orchestra thing.

Rise To Glory is the new studio album, the first in 4 years, from Japanese riff masters Loudness which is on the way. Set to drop this January 26th via earMUSIC (world excluding Japan), now you can hear some sounds from the newest opus. Discover "I'm Still Alive" below and tell us what you think about it.

Vocalist Minoru Niihara says: "The album cheers you up, makes you feel fresh."

The guitar wizardry of Akira Takasaki is featured throughout the album. He says: "I played lots of guitars, more than any other albums this century. There was soul in the sounds." In addition to guitar solos on each song, there is an instrumental track, leaning towards the progressive side of the band.

Still love their classic rock song

I've been a fan of Cromok since I was in darjah 2 when my paksu accidentally left the cassette lying around with XPDC cassette. But I missed their last concert, it was in 2016 I think.

Damn Amuk was good, especially the Cromok based ones like lapar and another one i forgot.

Most bands are like that after they got famous, rarely see bands can stay to their roots. Can also say that In Flames, Metallica (especially during St Anger album and the way they jaga their copyright like heck) been branded like that as well...

Criteria of BM, need to have only 1-10 fans to be considered not sellout 😆

- UTUSAN ONLINE
