hi

i've just finish secondary school, am planning to work at GH from 1 dec to 15 mar '10, it's quite a long time so i hope i can find an interesting job ^ ^

can some tell me more about the job application process at the HR?
do they list out a catalog of the vacancies or do i have to look for them ourselves? or i just apply for whatever post i'am interested in?
Anyone knows which day and time is the HR available? I'm thinking of going straight for the interview at HR...

and, I'll need more info about the accommodation of staffs working there, some roommates leave a bad taste, I heard? i read before a post in this thread that mentions of single rooms, is it possible? how about the living expenses during the time you work there?

and...the salary, how much is it on average? ^^;

thats all for now, it's the 1st time for me, really appreciate your help
thanks in advance, everyone~

lets say you went to the HR on wednesday 3 Nov, how long do you have to wait to get confirmation for the job you apply? Maybe its job dependant, but normally how long?

Hey. I was invited to the assessment centre in April this year for the Finance trainee programme, but I was not in the country and hence decline it.
Do you think I can ask for another interview?

Hey , i heard some college offer certificate free course on hotel management/other course , i think is subsidized by government , basically you go study for around 6 month , you no need pay for food/rental place, they will provide . After that your will be work for them for 2 years based on the place they send you as stated in contract , i heard it is salary around rm1.7k if send to work in Genting as housekeeping . Anyone have heard of it or try it? well..that is what i heard from people sweat.gif

contract is 6 years
3 years training + 3 years employment
first 3 years u must finish all ICAEW papers =D
full sponsorship by Genting hence the additional 3 years bond.
