i also newbie into DSLR and considering both models.. (D40x vs 400D, RM2500 vs RM2700 respectively)

until now still undecided which one to buy...

reason to go for D40x:
1. released on March 07, i assume new technology always better?
2. price lower
3. heard that nikkor all are AF-S lenses in future??
4. or shall i get D40 only? do i need 10MP if i seldom develop my pic?

reason to go for 400D:
1. few of my frens using canon, so can always borrow better lenses from them? hehe
2. more focus point, is it better??
3. more features? i think la..


so, any more comments or recommedation can give to me?

p/s: what is the best price for D40x vs 400D in KL? (kit lens + 2GB card + bag)
