I am 4.5 months pregnant and looking to deliver at either Putrajaya or Sungai Buloh Hospital under the FPP scheme. I would like to receive some feedback from anyone who has experienced going through delivery at either of these two hospitals under the FPP scheme. Specifically, I would like to know:

- Who are the recommended doctors in Putrajaya and Sungai Buloh hospitals?
- Having paid for FPP, were you given the first class ward? (single bed room)
- Did you go through labour and delivery in a private room or a shared room?
- Was the husband allowed to be with you throughout labour and delivery?
- Were you given an epidural? (I understand that delivering on weekends will mean no epidural).
- What was the treatment like from the supporting staff i.e. nurses, midwives, and medical officers?

Sorry for the detailed questions, but it will help me in deciding on which hospital to choose for my delivery. This is my first child and I hope that the delivery will be as smooth as possible. Thank you everyone in advance for your feedback, much appreciated!

May I know which year this was in? I think the prices may have gone up a bit. If normal, I'm told RM2-3k. If c-section, could be closer to RM5k, but that's still half the price of paying at private hospitals.

sg buloh can get really crowded, so putrajaya would be a better option. also depends on how convenient it is to get there, consider this first if u decide on natural birth

So between the two, you would think that putrajaya is a better option compared to sg buloh? Of course it's further away, but not a problem for first delivery since labour tends to be quite long. You experienced both hospitals?

I thought that if under FPP the husband can accompany the wife during delivery, since delivery will be in a separate single room?
