Well....aside from official firmware....if you really need the high power 5ghz channel 161 and 165....you might wanna try TM beta firmware (random reboot / wifi fix included).
Beware of TM firrmware pro and cons...

For 5Ghz, yes.
For 2.4Ghz, MCMC MTSFB TC T007:2014 document mentions max 2.4ghz eirp is 500mW.

For 2.4Ghz at Germany (well, EU C1200 V1 firmware defaults to DE)

Majority of low and mid range router sold in Malaysia actually limit 2.4Ghz at 100mW.
Only for high end router where TP-Link, Asus, DLink etc engineers bother to set correct/max 500mW 2.4Ghz for Malaysia. So much for being 'high end'. 
Artificial product segmentation. (Same for 5Ghz)

Now, make your choice of which firmware to use. 
It is either official EU firmware or TM Beta firmware.

hi guys, I want to pass down my current TP-Link Archer C1200 router to my parent.

I am using the router now with TIME 500mbps package and I want to downgrade and sign two years contract with TIME to get new router TP-Link EC230.

Want to ask, since my parent is using streamyx 4mbps (due to the area don't support Unifi yet), is the TP-Link Archer C1200 router compatible with streamyx?

My laptop use Qualcomm QCA9377 Wifi card. Not support AX. Already set 5Ghz as preferred band and i can feel an improve of wifi speed. But only can get max 433mbps only. With 433mbps, i should get at least 50MB/s download rate instead of 24MB/s that i get right now.
