Hi all,

Is the TP-Link C1200 Archer V1 (EU) router reboot intermittently solved ? Is it related to firmware issue?
Is there updated firmware release later than mine ?(beta/stable)

I encountered this problem lately after 3-4 year in use.
Troubleshoot many times.
So far change power extension cord and replug in and still monitoring for any reboot

Provider: TIME
Firmware version: 1.0 Build 20180502 rel. 45702 (EU)

Error message from system log ytd night 10:57pm
[693]: <3> 288753 Config importing failed

I googled around the error message and get different feedback.
Some say power extension, some say TIME NTP setting but not really solve the issue.

Anyone can help me what the error message means ?

Thanks.

Is hardware design flaw, no way to fix

Hi. I have a single unit Deco M5 as well as an Archer C1200 V1 (I have flashed it to EU latest firmware). The Deco M5 is provided by my internet provider and the Wi-Fi signal is not very good.

I am planning to setup my Archer C1200 as my main router connecting to my modem, and use Deco M5 to extend my wifi range as the wireless bridge. Is there any way I can do this? I googled and found that M5 only can setup as router or wired access point but not WDS/Repeater.

If it is not doable then, alternatively, I can use my C1200 as the WDS instead but my M5 signal is not good enough and I think the C1200 signal broadcasted will be as best as what M5 can do only, which is not ideal.

Throw away c1200, and get another deco

Deco can work with each others within Deco brand

Hi All, just want to confirm. I am planning to get AX55 to to replace UNIFI router to support single storey house for the moment. Don't plan to get deco mesh first, lets see the performance and coverage for single router)

With the one mesh technology, that's mean in the future, i still can get any router(deco/rotuer) with one mesh to serve as another node to expand the coverage ?

onemesh router-to-router feature currently only available with AXE75

onemesh is NOT COMPATIBLE with deco

easymesh is being tested on AX55, but you will need another router that supports easymesh protocol too

omg, thank you for your feedback.
A point I shall reconsider.

Either I get axe75, or Deco mesh.

or if you still interest in getting two AX55 to form a mesh, check out this firmware update (beta testing)

thanks, this is indeed better, where it can be paired with other brand/model that also support easy mesh!

still ethernet backhaul is supported right.

ethernet backhaul is still not implemented yet. only support wireless backhaul
