I have a stupid problem with my house wireless connection.

GF just bought a Dell notebook with Vista Basic. Tried to connect to internet thru my house wireless router. It doesn't work. The notebook can detect my SSID, but when i try to connect it, it will show my network as "Unidentified" while a "X" on the Internet connection.

Using "automatically" detect IP etc, it doesn't give me the correct IP as well. I tried the windows repairing (all 3 method they suggest, renew ip, restart network interface and also restart my router). All don't work

I'm facing the same problem, any solution to this?

Anyone using Windows Vista with dreamscene encountered this problem.

Windows Dreamscene has encountered an error.
Windows dreamscene has detected that explorer was not closed properly. As a precaution, dreamscene has been temporarily disabled.

that spec is capable enough for vista ultimate, but if you're running memory consuming apps such as photoshop, 3dsmax or something like that, consider adding 1gb more ram (or 2gb if using vista ultimate x64)...
