hey guys;

i got a friend who can airbrush pretty well. so i decide to refurbish my guitar to remove the "battle scar". i was informed that it is polyurethane finished. so i need help on what are the procedures to layer it. can i just apply new color on top after filling in the scars? what type of paint? acrylic ok? what do i do to obtain the poly finished back? i was thinking of using just flat based paint, so i don't have to do the polyurethane part. so any help from the knowledgeable?

fills with super glue? i was thinking epoxy filler for wood. then again, super glue made more sense since it's tranlucent. thanks dude. a question, "that" guitar is tranparent purple right?

yeah pro exist for a reason. but then again, the job is not too difficult if done with care. example, you can send your guitar for pro setup for some fee, but you can easily do it yourself if you're willing to learn. plus, i'll only send the body, all wiring and removal of hardware will be on my part. which i've done before.
