Hahaha. Very much true. BTW, are you DiGi contract or third party contract (vendor)? Have you oredi joined DiGi or not?

From my experience:

Here's a summary of third party contract staff policy at DiGi
You're not entitled to allowance or bonus
You don't have access to shared folder
You will get second hand sloppy laptop
You will be treated as second class Digizen
You have no access to shared folders, only DiGi email
You cannot enter meeting rooms at level 1
You have no access to your own locker, can only share
DiGi permanent staff will enslave you to do work for them

Benefits of permanent DiGi staff
6 months maternity leave for female
Free subscription to DiGi services
Bonuses and increments
Free t-shirts
Town hall meetings - makan makan
And many many more


If you hired as third party DiGi contract or vendor, better stay away from DiGi. So called equal opportunity employer DiGi discriminates against contract/vendor staff.
Otherwise if you're permanent DiGi staff, it's good to go

This is so bad that now only I saw your msg.
True. I join as third party contract staff and I can feel like I am being isolated.
Cannot even use their Gym room and badminton court. A really big gap between permenant and third party contract staff.

Mostly is untrue.

I am 3rd party contract staff, and I can get mostly of the items above (except allowance/bonus la). No sloppy laptop, they treated me as same as others Digizen, no enslavement from my team (dunno depends on team I guess?).
I can get free subscruption Digi services as well.

I dunno which contract type are you babbling about.

Are application via workday means Digi itself hires you or third party recruitment?

A 12-months contract means you will be contracted either direct contract or thru 3rd party recruitment agency.
Usually DiGi's policy is to outsource job to 3rd party recruitment agency (jimat kos biggrin.gif ) for entry level or less experienced.
Unless if its a senior position like Manager (they call it Principal in DiGi biggrin.gif ) and if the hiring period or project is more than 2 years,
maybe you will end up like direct contract with DiGi which sounds better bcoz you will enjoy the full benefits and privileges as a permanent
staff but with a time limit. And also there is a possibility that DiGi will absorb you permanently.
Anyway, there have been also cases where 3rd party contract staff become absorbed permanently with DiGi.
This is very rare and DiGi will only absorb you if they don't have enough headcounts in their respective departments.

Wherever You go as contractor, don’t expect to get the same treatment as permanent staff. Know your place.
Some afghan/paki contractors came and act like a boss to those permanent staff. End up can’t even survive more than 6 months. Applicable to everywhere
