hi, anyone here know where I can get a replacement screen for A1 because it is cracked? Xioami centre charging RM200 which is too expensive for me.

I would appreciate if anyone here can help. Thank you in advance.

RM200 is cheap, I changed my for RM215 few months ago.

3rd party is not gonna be cheap, so better stick with official service center.

Mi a1 max out at 433mbps.

Using what router? What package speed you subscribed to?

Have you try any different internet speed tester such as TM, Fast.com ,  Maxis ?

both my a1 and a2 with pie now. i can only say is a2 with pie is much better then a1 with pie, not the speed issue but the phone design..

Yes, very easy for me. Just RM6 toolset from Mr.DIY and a plastic pry tool (you can make your own).

For my case I went to the test *#*#6484#*#* , item 27. GPS was failing and SNR very low. After open up, under clear sky the same satellite number will show a higher SNR and hopefully it is passing. It does not need the back cover to get any satellite signals. With the cover back on, the signal should only degrade ~1dB.

I think its a hardware issue and the contacts for gps antenna could be dirty/loose/etc and by reinstalling the cover, it could have jostled back in place.
The metal back of the MiA1 is not ideal for signal reception.

Glass or plastic is much better than metal for signal reception if that is what you are asking. Metal also interferes with wirelss charging.
I prefer plastic because its more durable and cheaper.

Is it me or Digi line has connection problem lately?

Anyone having GPS issue? Recently my A1 GPS sometime will go haywire... (initially will be OK, but after that it will stop or jumping all around) I'm on Hotlink/Maxis btw.
