Guys, is the usb-c cable is special or the same only with other usb cable, in term of data transfer & power charging capability.

If they’re just the same, can i safely says that if i have the apple 29W usb-c power adapter, it will still deliver the same performance either if i use either:-
1)usb-c to lightning cable OR
2)usb-c to usb adapter & connect with the normal usb to lightning cable

If i bought the usb-c to a multiport usb-a, will the power be reduce to charge multiple iphones compare to charge a single iphone as in point no 2 above?

Theoretically there should be some energy loss when you use an adapter of some sort so option 1 of using the USB C to lightning cable should be faster, but I’m not sure by how much.

On top of that, the usbC to lightning cable from apply is noticeably thicker. Hence I believe it is to ensure higher voltage deliver and safety purpose

I'm using this from aukey official store.

https://www.lazada.com.my/aukey-pa-y11-48w-....3c367161AwJvvv

With voucher it cost like only 140 bucks. Then went to machine to buy cable for rm120. Love the adapter coz beside the 30w power delivery usbC port , it still have an additional Qualcomm 3.0 18w port. Very convenient when it comes to travelling . Ain’t gonna pay 200bucks for overpriced apply charger. Too bad there is no third party MFI certified usbC to lightning cable

Bro, i was thinking, what if we just buy this PA-Y11 & instead buying the rm120 apple cable, use the usb-c to usb adapter (and able to reuse all the old usb-lightning cables). Rather than use the other USB-a charging port.

Nevermind, just now receive feedback from Aukey as below:-
“For iPhone X u must use the Apple Original MFI USB C to Lightning cable only can fast charge, other then this cable that is no any way to fast charge iPhone X”
Which also means the rm120 cable is different too, not only the usb-c male connector.

Ya, I think the only fast charge option for iPhone X is the USB C to Lightning cable.

Yup. I tried every way to look for some third party MFI usb-c lightning cable, especially those heavy duty braided cable but non of those reputable manufacturers like aukey and anker produce them. And I don't trust like remax or China made cable when it comes to fast charging. Hence I ended up getting slaughtered by Apple for its rm120 cable lol.

Pretty sure I've not seen a white tempered glass, considering the top part of the notch is black for both silver and space grey models.

But wouldn't that ruin the front look of the phone though, seeing the original is also black? Hahaha... I guess you miss the white front of the iPhone? laugh.gif

Seriously no idea bro, but I think all electronic/electrical accessories should have at least a year’s warranty.

Lazada have a lot of sellers and a lot of direct imports as well. If you dont need the warranty then of coz cheaper. If you want warranty, get directly from authorize dealer with higher price.

Thanks for having me here. As I am using Rhinoshield mod, maybe I can raise up some experiences/opinions of mine, bare in mind it might be wrong too.
1) Rhinoshield Mod comes with backplate/rim.
-Backplate = you will be using like normal casing which cover back and all side of your phone.
-Rim = carrying your phone with a bumper case, which does not protect back of your phone (yea, i did apply screen protector behind of my phone when I am using it) “using different colour of rim make your phone looks prettier”
2) It is a lil bit bulky though, but no idea on the protection vs UAG Monarch which I am currently using.

All and all, if you dont like the on hand experience is bulky, maybe you should step backward get look for other slim case (lesser protection). UAG Monarch is quite good on hand compared to rhinoshield mod though, at least for me smile.gif

Sorry for my broken English, I am in a friend house now.

Finally, a lightning-connector Beats earphones...

https://www.beatsbydre.com/earphones/urbeats3-lightning

Retailing at RM400. Wonder if it's worth it.

I was previously using the traditional AUX version. I would say good sound overall and excellent noise cancellation.

Thanks for the share mate. Yaa i dont really like the bulky hand experience. I prefer slimmer casses, but prefer a slim cases that covers the power and volume button. I think ill give the spigen liquid air a try first and see how.
