maybe sarawak got diff tax structure

if that's the case then it'll be very strange, I guess is probably no one bother to find out if they really need to pay tax or not so in the end it become common practice

hehe.. it's possible.. but i guess need the official guide book on these tax as u said la.. just talk talk to argue probably not much use..

i wonder those book shops got sell or not..

If got sell inform us! then figurine tax free hehe..

Well..things you can do..

1. Print that thing out and show them who's the BOSS ^^
2. Contact the Ketua Kastam and ask whether is there any tax exemption if you purchase goods worth below RM500 using EMS. Then ask them why you kena tax for no reason..

Btw..when you kena tax..did they issue any receipt?

there should be a receipt though, one of my dvd shipment that got taxed the custom gave receipt for it, no receipt sounds fishy
