does the saber arrive wif the crack? or the crack comes out after some flexing around?

It came with that crack
which means already got the crack when it's still MIB

quite disappointed with kaiyodo this time, how could this happen to our precious saber

Maybe it's just the material or the design got problem to cause this crack on the joint after it came out from the factory
which means it's not the fault of the factory's QC
anyway Kaiyodo still investigating the causes of this defect

*thinks again* maybe i'll wait for another batch

i should email japan to double check my stocks b4 shipping

looks like ebcraft will be releasing another archer, this time articulated one, got multiple weapons, a 1/8, 8190 yen release in july

OMG, creaking.... I think the quality control of the Revoltech had become worst since my Silver EVA come without Cannon !!!!

Nice Archer, come with his famous twin blade & Arrow too. However the face does not looks like him at all, I prefer the one appear in Anime. I will see how is the final look then decide whether to buy or not.

None of the Japanese reviews mention cracked elbows and none of the photos in the reviews indicate that. I doubt it's a production-wide issue.

Kaiyodo issued that news for Japan version
so far only those sell in Japan can exchange for the defect one

I think there is a possibility Revoltech may come out with Archer, since he is quiet hot too

well if it's not production wide issue than it's great

anyway some new photos of Dark Saber and Sakura Mato

But it exists.

There's a HUEG thread on 2chan regarding this matter sometime yesterday, and many shared their modifications done to deal with it. Some inverted the elbow joints, some used their own custom bolts and joint parts to redo the joints, some cut off the elbow part, then put in a small revoltech joint they bought, etc.

I happened to save some of the pictures posted. Would post pics later.
