I'd like to give anyone some advice for painting water based paint.

Always have a wet rag available, and immediately wipe up any paint droplets or spills, before it dries.

If you have already dried paint (water or oil based) you can remove it with thinner and a rag. But only if the floor is resistant to thinner (Tile floor okay, laminate/wood cannot)
