Hi all,

Ive been delaying long enough and my sister alerted me that the battery replacement is coming to an end. So i like to take advantage to replace the battery.

My husband told me that his colleague got a replacement phone, when he asked her, she didnt reply whatsapp till now. They rarely met at workplace and so i didnt want to push it.

I am using iphone 6s Rose Gold 128gb and always expected shutdown.
As i was reading, I saw someone posted this link : https://www.apple.com/support/iphone6s-unexpectedshutdown/
"The iPhone 6s serial number you entered is eligible for this program. Please choose one of the service options below."
So Im not so sure, but will I get a on replacement phone for free, or I need to pay RM199, or RM399?

EDIT : I can be such a dum dum woman sometimes.
Reached out to chat :

You’re chatting with Jose Ricardo
"I’m sorry for the inconvenience you are having and definitely this is not the experience we want you to have as a customer. You have reached the right place and we will get this issue resolved as soon as possible!
In this case your iPhone 6s is eligible for a battery replacement, free of charge.
May I know which country are you in, please?"

My husband is using Iphone 7+, imma try to replace his battery as well

I think the free replacement program for those set that have issue has ended. iPhone6s release around Sept 15’. I could be wrong, just walk in and ask those Apple Premium Reseller.

The program covers affected iPhone 6s batteries for 3 years after the first retail sale of the unit.

Thanks! you replied after I edited. Hehe
So yes I am still eligible as per chat session with apple
I got my phone back on March 2016 under maxis zerolution

Im kinda happy as I will be getting a replacement. I think its better, i guess.
Initially I wanted to just change the battery.
Downloaded battery life, shows as 38% for my 6s

38%! i think your phone must have trottle down the performance to a halt. no wonder a lot of shutdown. Apple consider battery health < 80% as deem to have failed.

sweat.gif sweat.gif yes. I admit i kept delaying this replacement thing i guess.
And yes battery would last 2-3 hours on constant use, before needing to charge again.
with full charge and if i leave it aside without using it i guess maybe it would like 7-9 hours?
