found it on apple.sg website. gonna make an appointment.
do we need to format/restore the device before sending in?

went to a authorized apple repair center - No ip6+ battery until March
then state battery is heavily/totally damaged, cannot repair, need to buy new phone.

dafak i thought all this battery replacement is to replace bad battery
ask my GF to go ask Apple Store instead. if same story, gonna freaking lodge a report.

*seems like its much easier to do swap battery in Msia.

SG. just checked with Apple Store - eligible to change as long as not opened by 3rd party, so yeah, registered name on the waiting list.
bad news - whole SG no stock

Authorised repair center should have all the necessary equipment. else if not, tak kan still can be call as authorised if doesn't have the required basic hardware / items

March only will have stock and need to make appointment again.

IP6+ is a 4 years old product. of course they are not going to concentrate making batteries at such huge volume.
surprisingly, so many ppl still using 6 series

maybe try if can change the battery at SG or not?
the Authorised Apple Repair Center only need 1 hour waiting time, while Apple Store SG need 1 working day.

Problem is - Stock shortage

my ass on that. told to come back on March instead
the appointment is make before you go, but then won't inform you when the stock will arrive

from my enquiry, as long as its not opened by 3rd party - entitle for the program.
once opened by 3rd party - charge full price.

how about trying to get it replace at SG? that email is more like a africa scam to me....
that terms can be added to all repair - its not our fault if our technician mess up the battery replacement -

yes. same case at SG Apple Store and Repair center. March is the earliest but no exact date. and its only estimate.
