Went to machines north point today to try to get replacement battery for my iphone 6s+ - thought everyone will be out of town for the pending election day tomorrow but the line was very long - I was #20 in waiting - decided to go home as I don't want to be stuck in the 5pm jam...

Anyways my batt is at 80% life - am wanting to give this phone to my wife as her IP6 Plus is also running low on batt

Anyone know how long it takes to replace the batt - saw someone post less than 1 hour - maybe need to go in the AM

Thats quite fast - maybe i need to visit the curve - less offices nearby ? Midvalley has lots of offices and businesses nearby - hence probably the crowd.

I did go to QCD Sunway Pyramid mall and they ran out of 6s Plus batteries sad.gif

I don’t understand:
1) Why stock availability for parts could not be checked first when the phone is checking-in? If customer is informed at that time, he/she can decide whether to proceed to leave the phone at the service centre or schedule another appointment.

2) They remove the tempered glass and all when there was no service done. Again this could be prevented if point 1 was done.

I have called some other service centre and although they have stock for the battery, they do not have stock for the gasket to retain back the water resistant feature so they will need a few days to order the parts.

Which branch did you call ? KLCC?

Switch The Mines no stock. iTWorld 3 Two Square got stock for battery but mentioned that they don't have the gasket. Both said need to leave phone with them for 3-5 working days.

Note: This is for iPhone X

I already made appointment at KLCC. What should I bring tomorrow?
If I set appointment at 10am means I no need to queue?

Let me know as well. I’m traveling next week but plan to leave my IPX the following week when I return for service at KLCC as well. Do you mind asking about water proofing as well? And if they will remove your SP if you have any.

Nope still have to queue. Appointment only books you a spot, as they strictly allow services by appointment only.
