I am only worried that if everyone going to exchange their battery in Nov or Dec, the AASP will tell us there's no stock and drag us until Jan 2019 doh.gif

It seems like the they are not charging us SST for the battery change program. I have also been quoted RM 121 for the change (to be done in 1 or 2 days time)

BTW, i think it is better that i wipe clean my phone before sending in for them to change the battery (i don want any privacy leak), or do i dont have to worry ? Please advise

one of the few conditions to send in your phone is to unlocked it and disable the ‘find my iphone’ feature.

So i think better i wipe out all of my personal info (Do a backup using itunes) before sending it in hmm.gif

86%, change it or not?

In my opinion, you should. Battery is generally considered not fit for purpose once its health is 80% or less (normally 2 years of standard usage).

If you are planning to change phone soon (say in 6 months time), might as well just dont bother to change the battery, but to sell it off later tongue.gif

If you are planning to use your phone for another year or two, or maybe even if you plan to keep this phone, better change the battery now for discounted rm121 only what whistling.gif thumbup.gif

Else, come to the East Coast if you do not want the long wait tongue.gif

Thunder (AASP) here offer walk in service with almost no crowd tongue.gif

Did apple specify what actually covers in the 3 months warranty ??? Like if it drops to how many percents did apple will warrant a change FOC ??

Btw, can I check my repair record in my Apple ID ?? Or there’s no way to check it except with the receipt of payment only ?
