Well assuming it is a new phone la lol. But from what i've read, Apple's refurbished sets are usually better than newer units since they go through more stringent tests and most of the internals are new.
lol sadly my old model is only a rose gold 16gb.
But weirdly the invoice he typed in the model as grey 64gb

Hmm.. iPhone 6S as well? You could try and see if they replace the battery or give you a refurbished phone instead. If it's the latter, then maybe the theory that the batteries are finished is true

is that normal?..i sent my 6s plus today also to machines then suddenly they say battery bloated so can not just replace the battery but whole phone for rm 199...so any idea if this is a recall or what? because at the same time some other customer with 6s also have the same issue cannot replace the battery  to change the phone too..and furthermore, the technician says the replacement unit will come from singapore

Yeah I faced the same issue too, they gave me a refurbished unit though, although they claimed that it is a 'new' unit, I looked up the IMEI number and found that it is actually not.

Do a survey for those who asked for rm199 for a replacement set... which service center you sent your phone ? What model ?
