At how many percent battery capacity that we’ll start to experience obvious difference? Below 80%?

Machine staff advise me to replace battery when it falls below 85%, which I will do by the end of this year.

I see, thank you for the info.

Anyone knows if the phone will still retain back its dust/water resistant capabilities after replacing the battery at an AASP?

this one hard to tell, much depends on the skill of the Technician. sending it to Apple Store would be the best option.

That means going down to Singapore eh?

Apple Store in Singapore offers same day battery replacement also for walk-in?

Does Switch accept iPhone X for battery replacement? I noticed that Machines listed the X under this program but Switch didn’t.

"Excellent" service by Machines North point. Checked-in my iPhone X at 11.00am. Received a call around 3.15pm saying no stock for iPhone X battery.

I blacklisted them already. Went to KLCC branch ever since

I don’t understand:
1) Why stock availability for parts could not be checked first when the phone is checking-in? If customer is informed at that time, he/she can decide whether to proceed to leave the phone at the service centre or schedule another appointment.

2) They remove the tempered glass and all when there was no service done. Again this could be prevented if point 1 was done.

I have called some other service centre and although they have stock for the battery, they do not have stock for the gasket to retain back the water resistant feature so they will need a few days to order the parts.

Which branch did you call ? KLCC?

Switch The Mines no stock. iTWorld 3 Two Square got stock for battery but mentioned that they don't have the gasket. Both said need to leave phone with them for 3-5 working days.

Note: This is for iPhone X
