Hmm... initially I thought I was having problems with the adapter. Dell technician came over and gave me a new adapter and changed a few parts in the laptop but that didn't solve the problem. Anyhow, my dad was testing my laptop last night running on battery alone and yet he still get the mild electric shock.

Agree with pigduck the webcam is one of the culprit areas. Other parts include absolute left side, middle (the part to plug in mic and earphones) and absolute right side of the front area. Other parts are ok.

I also facing the same problem. Webcam is the only place that electricity leakage. Other parts seem OK for me.

Like I said, interesting stuff... Shame I'm on Vista rite now... Last time I even had a flash driven log-on screen for my WinXP, full animation summore... Ah, days long gone...  sweat.gif

Eiraku, does Vista cause any extra problem for you compare to XP? I thinking to upgrade my OS to Vista. Any problem with the driver?

Will paste Frontpage... Essential for XP in my opinion, if you value speed/performance over eye-candy... icon_rolleyes.gif
Well, for me Vista is smoother in all it's DWM'y hardware accelerated desktop goodness... But is it more stable then XP? Well, in comparison, my old XP machine DOES lock up and forces me to HARD RESET more then this current Vista machine... And I notice that Vista's a bit better in managing memory and recovering from Explorer.exe crashes (maybe it's the 2GB RAM?)...  icon_rolleyes.gif

Drivers? Vista Nvidia drivers are quite crap right now for the 7400... Do you play a lot of games? If you do, you'll notice a slight performance drop due to this... But everything else seems okay enough... thumbup.gif

Basically if you don't really care about gaming performance and want the bling-bling of the DWM desktop, get Vista. If you care more about extracting the last ounce of performance out of the 7400go, stick with XP...  rolleyes.gif

Thx. Actually i just use to play Need for Speed Most Wanted. The previous game i play many years ago is final fantasy 7 sweat.gif

I love the bling-bling of the DWM desktop...that's way thinking to upgrade to Vista. How about the time take to start up the window Vista? also running some software that consumes a lot of memory...faster than XP?

So far i just HARD RESET my system once....

I dont have much time rite now, but ill say if u prefer game performance over eye-candy, wait for awhile because u gonna have some performance loss on Vista. I'll get to u more. dang, im late.
