I bought from exhibition RM 4300, too bad they only can free the alarm system, not the Logitech keyboard/mouse.
I'm still trying to mess with the setting for picture quality.
I'm surprised it can support 10bit color... rclxms.gif  rclxms.gif  rclxms.gif

diff apps may give diff results.

it is also possible the wifi module of tv 2.4ghz is not so good.

i have another tv at a rather dead spot... can barely get enough wifi to work on netflix.

now using a repeater, 30mbps is good enough for just about all apps.

I am looking for a repeater. Can tell us what repeater you are using ?

using an old asus rtn12hp.
this router served me very well for several years for up to 50mbps, get full 50 wifi on 2.4ghz.
this model still sold in the shops... rm200 or so.

about using repeater - everyone says no good, go lay a cable for AP, use mesh...
trouble is mesh routers aren't cheap, u dun junk fairly new eqpt so easily unless u r so rich.
and... laying cables is not always a sensible option - the work required, $...
objective is to get enough speed for the apps to work.
20-30mbps is good enough for most apps - netflix hd, astrogo, playtv...

the actual position of the repeater is very critical.
a diff of 5 feet and 20 deg angle from the main router makes all the diff.
while it is not always easy to find the optimal spot given the need for power point, try to get the best practical position.
also, main-repeater on wifi is a given, but best to avoid repeater-device on wifi.
makes a major diff if u use repeater-device with LAN cable.
lastly, i see no point in using 5ghz for repeater since it is about poor spots, and 2.4ghz works better for such spots.

In this configuration, your TV ( the end device ) would connect to a different SSID than the router ?

same SSID, 3 variations will show up: xxx_5ghz, xxx_2.4ghz, xxx_2.4ghz_repeater.

Which means the extender/repeater is exposing different SSIDs, biggrin.gif The one closer to the device will have higher signal strength, the original one further way will have different SSID but weaker signal strength.
