afaik, sharp tv's are made/assembled in batu pahat, malaysia, with the panel of the tv of this thread imported from japan.
there must be a hundred items inside made in malaysia or china or sri lanka or vietnam... anything wrong?!
do ps4, xbox, ipads not have parts made in china or taiwan?
and why do people think anything made with a "china" touch is bad?
one must look at a product from its price angle too.

as for your "verdict"... more of an emotional burst, little else.
brand is more of customer perception; a useful evaluation must be done by looking at the specific model - performance, features, price, service, longevity.
wrong to say "mercedes is the best, toyota is not so good".
a premium toyota will beat a cheap mercedes any day!
sure, u buy the highest price mercedes, it will surely beat a mid priced toyota.
so, u must compare model vs model, feature vs feature, price vs price.

also, the output of the tv is only as good as the source and the player.
use a poor source to play with tv player, don't expect it to come out "wow".
play the highest grade sources with a good separate player, u see what the tv can actually display.

for the 60" at rm3.4k 5 yr warranty, i'm pleased with the buy.
it is not the best tv, that i am well aware, but for its value in what it can do for me, i m very satisfied.
others with diff needs and expectations may need to spend 2-3 times that to be satisfied.
and that is nothing wrong if u hv the money.

it is NOT adjustable.

but i can't tell u the actual distance between the legs as i am not using the stand.

if u specify 45, 50 or 60, maybe some owner can measure and tell u.
enjoy... as long as it lasts.

did u do these that are required to make it work?

1. install indic keyboard from playstore, set to default.
2. sideload orientation app, activate it to landscape.
3. sideload a browser.. chrome or brave or whatever.

for those keen on using the androidtv 8.0 of 6800x, here's what i am using, fully tested, all good:

.. astrogo 8.2.4 - sideload, a bit of work to install, please read last part of post #2.
.. new cloudtv - sideload, great for a few free channels incl news.
.. redbox v1.2 - sideload, best part part is the "malaysian" section - u will like what u find there; hv to put up with the ads, adfree version CANNOT be installed, rejected by tv security; works best with VLC player, install from playstore.
.. ZAL TV - this is available in playstore, u need to get code/password for m3u lists done by others (pm me if u wish to try); live iptv channels in HD.
.. Kodi - from playstore - good for local playback; set audio passthru, transcoding, u can playback anything, get max dolby digital audio.
