Wait, what about SIA? I'm flying with SIA next month laugh.gif
Singapore to Tokyo (Narita) by Singapore Airline SQ12
Flight Path are same as JAL, Through Sea of Japan and Philippine, no chances to see Mt Fuji
Since April 20 until today

Tokyo (Narita) to Singapore by Singapore Airline SQ11
Flight Path are same as JAL, Through Sea of Japan and Philippine, no chances to see Mt Fuji
Since April 21 until today

Singapore Airline & JAL prefer flight though Philippine into Japan, avoiding congested China & Taiwan airspace

Owhhh dang, no luck then.

The flight from SG -> Tokyo (Haneda) is via SQ636 while return is SQ637.
All Singapore airline flight to Tokyo Narita / Haneda are fly through Philippine into Sea of Japan. Totally no chances to see Mt Fuji
Unless they change flight path biggrin.gif

Japanese still very polite in a way. If compare to Hongkies and Singaporean, i just for a minute forgotten the side to stand at the escalator and just block the traffic for less one sec already kena scolding and make noise d.
*
I prefer Singapore / HK ppl way, much better, straight forward. Japan ppl are most fake, face expression look like polite and smiling, but inside thier mind will keep on cursing you kaw kaw. Japan ppl those fake expression are world class level.

From what I read and understand from a Japanese friend, sometimes the elderly do not want the seats. They do not want to be viewed as 'incompetent' or 'old' so as to need priority seats. In fact, some may act in dismay when you offer the seat to them.

Yes, he was thankful. We were hesitating at first but well, what da heck, if the didn't want it he can always just reject. We would have felt more uncomfortable for not offering the seat in the first place.
*
As I say before,,,,Japanese ppl face problem causing them very big problem. As I mention before, 90% Japanese ppl wont give seat. If you give seat, will making them feel like another kind of people.

If that 90% change become letting seat that kind of category, surely all old ppl will like to have a seat.

Japanese ppl wont give way for Ambulance also. If pedestrian light was green, even ambulance also have to wait ....ppl keep on crossing ...wont stop at all.

With 2 years old kid but plan all until 12Am.....No way.....10pm Max he will sure fall in sleep due to fatigue.
Unless you going to carry him
If want go Hakone, can replace it on Day 3 because your Day 3 plan are not necessary.

Plus August was so Hot....34 - 37 Celcius. By 12pm - 2pm you will be exhausted due to high heat, Resting at Hotel Room.
This also will ruin your plan, Alot thing need re-adjusted

Hi, Can I use the 72 Hours metro pass for below line?

1. Chuo-Sobu Line(Local)
2. Chuo Line
3. Yamanote Line

I need to go Shinjuku station from Asakusa station. Any suggestion?
*
QUOTE(neoexcaliber @ May 23 2018, 07:36 AM)
Those 3 lines you've listed are run by JR. There are trains covered by the toei subway/tokyo metro pass from Asakusa to Shinjuku but you will need to change lines at certain station(s).
*
Tokyo Metro Pass can used on Tokyo [[ONLY]] JR Line.
BTW, Tokyo Metro Pass are very expensive, unless you taking alot alot train per day...if not using Suica / Pasmo more convenience

Are you sure the Tokyo Metro Pass covers the JR line in Tokyo? It's this pass:
Japan too many pass, mess up with expensive one day Tokyo Tour Ticket Pass
This Tokyo One day Tour Ticket pass include all Tokyo Train. Best for using it if plan going Nikko one day tour.

Yes,  will be usng the free pass in Tokyo only.

How about Yurikamome Line from Shimbashi Station to Odaiba? cover by free pass too?
*
Seriously, My recommendation was forget those Passes if you plan to visit Tokyo within 7 days.
Just Get your self a Pasmo / Suica. It costs 2000 yen to create a new Suica: the card itself will have a 1500 yen charge, while the cost of the card is 500 yen.

1500 Yen you can used more than 5 days above.

With Suica / Pasmo Card, you can used on any line any train. No need worry which line can which line cannot.

Hi, I have question regarding taxi in Kyoto.
I'll be travelling there with my family, 3 adults and 3 kids (aged 4,8 & 9).
Based on experience, will the driver let us ride together assuming one kid will be sitting on the adult lap?

Thanks.
*
Most of City Taxi are below 2000CC, count as medium / small size taxi.
One normal taxi only can take 4 Pax

You need 2 taxi. Age 1 also count as 1 pax

Taking taxi at Japan always remember one important Rules. Never Never open the Taxi door by your self.

So far I've not had much "weird" tasting stuff (probably I ain't very adventurous) except for the yuzu-tasting ramen by Afuri. It just didn't work for me.
When Suntory releasing those colorless drink. So big disappointment on it
Most weird still that Eel favorite soda & long long time ago ...''Curry Lemonade''
