Hi,

I am also planning to buy the Icoca+Haruka but the problem is that I have 3 kids. Have google around for Icoca for child, but not much info provided. Because as I know child Icoca is half price of adult fare and it also can purchase the Haruka discounted ticket as well.

Can I purchase the child Icoca at Kansai Airport?

For adults is it advisable to get Osaka Amazing Pass or just use the Icoca as I'll be in Osaka for 2 days (1 full day in USJ + 1 day sightseeing around Osaka)
Thanks!!
*
yes, base on the post here (Chinese info)
https://nicklee.tw/?p=1146&cpage=1
child icoca can buy in "green window", kansai airport JR is "green window"
need fill up some form for child icoca
user posted image

good if you can confirm the child icoca for haruka has discount ticket

i still recommend get 1 day for Osaka Amazing Pass (2500 yen), it very worth
normal price for osaka castle (600yen), and the cruise beside osaka castle (1500yen), these 2 thing cost 2100 yen already
and the subway.....1 day normal cost sure higher than the pass.

Hello everyone, I'm planning to visit Tokyo in June probably the last 10 days of June or Mid of June. Japan-guide.com mentioned it is a rainy season, anyone went on June and can provide some feedback whether it is that bad?
*
yes, rainy season on June
June is low season, airlines will have promotion on that period
example airasia last year osaka promotion for June, RM257 for return flight

arriving osaka late around 10pm, i guess after collect luggage and stuff it will be close to 11pm to 12am...

does osaka capsule hotel accept late check in without reservation? or is there any recommend late accomodation around in osaka...
*
i have experienced on that, last 2 years kansai customs still using old method, take around 2 hours to clear custom
come out already 12am
left bus only, airport information counter still working, can ask them which exit to take bus
need buy ticket at the bus stop area first, then only queue wait for bus
bus only stop in selected area, last time my hotel in shin-osaka, bus stop in Umeda, after that take taxi, many taxi are waiting in the Umeda bus stop area

Hi guys!
I've tried to search for the answer by googling but can't find any solution.
I'm travelling to Hakone for 2 days 1 night and I'm planning to purchase the Hakone Freepass.
I noticed that it can be purchased at the Odakyu line for a cheaper price, and I can pay a surcharge to reserve the Romancecar.
But the thing is, if I were to purchase the freepass when I am at Shinjuku, the Romancecar seats are probably all reserved.
Is there a way where I can reserve the Romancecar online before I reach Japan and also buy the freepass at the station?
Meaning I'm confused if there is a way where I don't haveto purchase the Romancecar ticket at a full price, I just have to pay it at the add-on price of the freepass.

Sorry if I'm confusing you all T-T
And thanks in advance!
*
Bro, no worry, many Romancecar in the morning time
timetable is after 17/03/2018
http://www.odakyu.jp/english/romancecar/ti...d_revision.html

before 17/03/2018 is this one
http://www.odakyu.jp/english/romancecar/timetable/a01.html
fast every 20 mins the train will come
slow is 40mins~1hour

i only have 2 times experience to hakone, never face all seat been reserved, correct me if i am wrong notworthy.gif

Ohhh, so you suggest that I buy Hakone Freepas and reserve the romancecar at the station when I’m in Japan?
Is there a way to purchase in advance if I insist? šŸ˜‚
Thanks!!
*
you can buy the freepass in JTB malaysia, you can ask the advance ticket for romancecar by phone call, or direct go to their counter

Hi guys,

I'm currently searching for my flight tickets to Japan (travelling in Nov). Tentative Travel Date: 3 - 20 Nov 2018

This will be my 2nd trip to Japan. Travelling with my wife (3rd trip) and kid (1st trip).

So far I found Singapore Airlines to be the cheapest option at MYR 4,366.30 (2 adults; 1 child). Do u guys think the price is ok?

[attachmentid=9614803]

Places that we plan to go are Tokyo, Kyoto, Hakone, Kawaguchi, Yokohama (day trip) and maybe Zao village.
*
still a long way to November, maybe you can wait for airasia free seat
airasia free seat will be this month or next month, high chance on next month
maybe around 1k per person, transit in KLIA2

Yea, was thinking of waiting for the free seats from AirAsia too but I've had few bad experiences with AirAsia before so not very keen on using them. That's why rather go with other airlines if their price is not too far off.

Thank you for your suggestion ya.
*
beside budget airlines, RM4300+ is reasonable price thumbup.gif
