I play both. Of course, in futsal you need good understanding with your teammates as in this kind of pitch, short passes are the only way to play. You can play long balls too but it is quite hard.
Football, a lot of energy needed esp. for those who plays midfielders position. You need to run back and forth to attack and defend. |

Well, I definitely prefer football more, I think that you'll need to have a permanent team in futsal and in football you just blend in and play...
When playing futsal, you develope some kind of coherent with your mates which is very vital as the game moves so fast... Don't ask why but I love football more... |

Kinda hard for me to pick between the two,so I voted both -.-
Generally speaking,I'm a person who runs.I'm not particularly good with close quarters control ala street soccer style. So that factor leans me towards football. However,I have pathetic stamina (lol) and my shots aren't too powerful, which affects my football playing. Plus recently I've been playing futsal in an "official size" court (they claim it as such,it's big,no idea if it's as big as the official one) and we play 7 on 7. Quite some space for me to run, which is nice. But at the end of the day,I just wanna kick.I'll play soccer anywhere. The field,a court, some empty pavement space, the corridors outside our class (srsly,we actually used bottlecaps/stones and what nots),wherever. I just love the game |

QUOTE(EmperorMeng @ Apr 27 2007, 03:48 PM) Yea.We play 7 on 7 in that court coz our players complain it's too tiring to play 5 on 5 there. We've become real lazy bums since we moved on to college This post has been edited by ellimist: Apr 27 2007, 03:50 PM |

some were quite skillful, some are not at all. but we had team chemistry. which made us pawn any1 else... sadly it all ended after pre-U i play futsal now wif uni but they f***ing stupid no ball sense |

Used to play outdoor football, but damn hard to find 11-a-side! Then got injured (ACL - knee ligament damage) and was out of the game for about 2 years.
Did my rehab with futsal, and have been stuck with futsal ever since! normally play at CB but after the whistle blows, every man for himself! Of course there will always be pros and cons of each, more of preference and the way you play I think. But the main plus point futsal has is that it quickens your reflex time, be it mentally or physically, whereas in football, you can take a break mentally and physically during some period of the game. My 2 cents lah...but still enjoy watching football though! |

One test to see if really2 ligament damage is try to stand on one foot on THAT foot. if feel like shaking2, or not stable, means susah kes already. don't exert it anymore, if not lagi teruk...but i play football with that injury on, and ter injure a few more times.. then i really let 6 months to rest. now that injury still can reoccur, must careful on landing angle and such.. but futsal really less chance to injury, except drop and can cuts aND bruises |

Futsal of course. I don't have that much of stamina to run big field, man! Even in futsal, sometimes I don't run much.

I voted both.
I like futsal cause it's indoor and there's a better understanding between my team mates as I've been playing with my friends for a long time. On the other hand the football fields are crappy and usually the team just 'blends in'. But you can never replace the pace of football. There are crosses, corners, free kicks. The beautiful game. |
