Don't go subcon if you used to OEM life. You won't make it. That includes Inari, ASE, Jabil, plexus, flex dll on island.

TF-AMD just completed a new plant so they might be hiring soo n.

Got plenty of small tech startup near mahsuri square so you may want to consider that. But if you use to inhell style, need some time to adapt.

depend on your job RnR ...some can be pretty stressful ... some is more like routine based with minor change

any jobs that involves hazardous materials have their career hazards. especially those manufacturing chips you will come across many toxic materials and those air tight suits won't guarantee much. the high pay might not justify the high medical fees you need to spend later on but sure is high paying.

Friends working as process engineering, doing those plastic moulding process, they mostly get baby girls even after 3 tries.

Those are not air tight suits. They are ESD smocks to prevent humans from contaminating the chips/wafers. Not the other way around.


Correct. Most MNC in penang are factories. Even chinamen broadcom also are hiring engineers to improve the production. Innovation is discouraged.
