Downside is products that you liked 2 years ago may become end of life and no longer available to purchase. Also price quoted at that time may no longer be valid 2 years down the road.
Who knows there are always better deals around, if you buy early you might miss out on good deals. Like Cavenzi in Puchong they always have sales and lower prices
dunno how they manage it 
At the moment I'm resisting buying any furniture too early before I move in because I don't feel like buying stuff keeping in the old house the shift everything a second time when I move out...
Do check some shops esp. furniture shops can book and keep your stuff about 3months before delivery! Some can even customise the furniture to your liking

That's not a wall is more like a plaster wall or wood board they use to cover up... the actual wall is covered over... If you visit some furniture shops in Puchong they have something like that but not as syiok to look at compared to your picture lah...
