I am used to go gym in the evening after work during weekday. When come to weekend, I will go gym in the morning around 9am. However, I felt like I cannot perform as good as in the noon. Do you ever encounter this?

The other issue is, workout in the morning, I can go half way only. I feel least energy after half of my training. Any solution?

Thank

i think there are lots of possible factors. did you eat prior to going to the gym? have rested well enough?

i wish i have a luxury to choose what time i can routinely go to the gym but i work at a call center and my shift is all over the place. i prefer morning workouts but if i have to work out in the evening i'll make sure to take a nap and have dinner before going to the gym (usually i work out 2 hours before the gym closes).

Yup, I take my breakfast before gym (not sure if too much). I normally take hokkien mee/curry mee. Rest enough of course.

I feel like workout in the morning not in the mood and abit dizzy....while in the noon/evening is more easy to get into condition.....but i only take a small bread before gym...

night is when I want my rest. so only early morning works for me.

thanks for sharing, i guess that is very subjective.

Yesterday I train leg then shoulder. Half way after leg, i feel like no energy and unable to focus during shoulder.

Anyhow, I still continue with 4 exercises but light weight as i cannot feel the weight and pain at all.

Is that a symptom of tiredness? I never thought of this.
I usually have this issue when I do my leg and I go gym in the morning.

Look like I need more energy during these situation.

I seldom go outdoor activities at this moment. hot....once a while ok la like going to hiking or paintball

have you tried deloading before? it's supposed to give your central nervous system a break and make you feel more motivated and refreshed right after.

I do not stop when I am tired. I stop when I am done.

It is very normal to feel un-energetic for morning training. You are not fully awake physically and emotionally, at least for me it is.

I either, slap myself awake, or sit in the gym for a while to smell the environment and get the mood in, or watch some motivational video before I start. Last but not least, train the mind and body to work in whatever time you want it to. Some Sundays I do midnight.

Fast heart beat? Train it to slow down. You will get used to it. All you need to do is go on and get used to it. Who doesn't have fast heart beat the first time they sprint their ass off? The next time they do, heart still beats fast. After 1 year? You will get used to that and won't feel the beat.

I like the quote and i am passion on accomplish it.

So at least someone has similar situation like me, I now understand the cause.

I gotta walk around the gym and get the mood first next round when I got this feeling. I do follow some insta gym influencer and used to watch their photo to motivate myself...shall improve in future

Train it slow, ok. I got this point.

Actually I have been in gym for 7 years, should not have "nervous" sign as I am used to all those exercises. It just sometime i might feel no energy or want-to-vomit feeling whenever i train leg first. izzit because the pressure i put on stomach too much?

I did not say train it slow. I say train it to slow down.

I am surprised that you are in the gym for 7 years yet you do not know what is central nerve system (CNS). I believe one of the forumer said CNS, not nervous. And I am also surprised that you are not used to the thump on your chest, the pant for air, the sweat flushing all over, the feel of vomiting and also the theory behind improvement.

What I was trying to say is, you should feel like crap when you when you sprint 100m with 12 sec for the first time in your life. As your training goes on, after a year, if you run 100m with 12 sec, you should feel less like a crap. That is improvement. Work for those improvements. Push through the pain, push through the feeling of wanting to pass out. You will come out a different person after that session.

And also, if you squat during your leg days and you feel dizzy, you are brazing in wrongly, inhaling, exhaling wrongly. Learn the breathing pattern with an empty bar before you go on with weights again.

You train. You don't play. Want to play can go playground or cyber cafe. I am a lone ranger and I do research and read by myself too.

And you do not try again next year. You do it tonight. Next year might never come.

Before workout just have a light meal to fuel you for the workout. 30 minute before the workout works for me. Even a packet of soybean works for me.
