Yea. Certainly will miss the touchID but I am quite pleased with the faceID haha.. so far it worked most of the time, just the swiping up is a bit troublesome. Hopefully they will update us and straight enter into the home screen like one plus 5t.

But, i think they implement the swiping up because sometime we just raise up the phone to check notification and not logging into the phone.

Yeap the Face ID works great, I kinda completely forget about the Touch ID in less than 3 mins...and won’t look back coz don’t need to would be great if they implement instant unlock screen without swiping up, at least give us a choice to select our preference, just like the note 8 Samsung...

Manually backup the ipa file of the app. Then just restore the app via itunes later after you had done restore from iCloud. The downside, app data will not be restored but you can retain the app version.

the new iTunes 12.7 or above no longer able to download .ipa, Apple remove the App Store from iTunes
you cannot install app manually anymore... only through devices
