The problem with flagship Androids being priced high is that the value doesn’t hold. Looking at the Garage Sale, I can see a new Note 8 being offered at about 33**. While it’s fair to say the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus has also dropped in value, the value of the X still pretty much holds. Anyway, it’s interesting to see the trend for next year if prices of phones will keep going up. At some point it will become unsustainable.

Brother in law just texted me from the States. He just got his unit from Houston, Texas with sales tax 8.5% and he can get half of the tax in refunds making it approximately RM4.2k for a 64GB. Worth the gamble for a better Qualcomm modem?

A month ago I offered someone 2300 for the same and he politely told me I was lowballing, haha. Anyways, yeah, I’d pay 2500 for a 32GB with at least 2-3 months warranty left but not more than that,especially if warranty is over.

Agree. I only buy accessories from Switch/Machines. I have only ever bought Apple products at retail price at SenQ or Harvey Norman.
