QUOTE(MrLoo @ Dec 30 2017, 03:31 AM) Nope, I don’t wanna my battery long so fast... no, u must really understand how traffic in Melaka works, one stretch of 1km road can have 4 traffic lights Thanks for your feedback, MrLoo. Are you driving aggressively? Means accelerate harder and brake frequently? I heard Bezza city drive can reach 16 to 17km/l and old myvi is 11 to 12km/l ... to me is big improvement. Lets see if other to share their fuel consumption. 1.3 or 1.5 are welcome. |

QUOTE(NuLive @ Jan 12 2018, 10:31 AM) Yup, all paints lose its shine in time due to constant uv exposure even if u hv covered carpark, white car is the most obvious. Naturally you would need an extra layer which is good in uv protection at all time, I'm not sure ceramic/ glass coating which only has a relatively more long lasting effect is the best solution as u would not be able to detail, polish or wax afterwards, but it's definitely easier to clean and maintain, however u still need to wash your car regularly. But if u don't mind forking out extra 2k for paint respray like 5 yrs down the road then getting white is not an issue. Thanks for your good advise too. I think I need to do some survey whether repaint or coating better. If after 5 yrs coating I need to spend 1-2k for re-coating, then I will better go for repaint / respray better. This is something I am not sure. myvi white is the best I see so far. |

QUOTE(Ivan_T @ Jan 12 2018, 11:44 AM) My suggestion is forget about the coating, keep the money for respray. Other peoples might have different opinion but this is from my own experience. I have a white car, coating done 2 months after I received the car and come with 5 years warranty, I have never sent the car for outside wash, I spent time washing the car weekly myself. Yet, the coat has almost gone within 1 year and after that can see the dirt is eating into the paint. I need to do polish to remove the dirt. It is just so difficult to maintain. Very good sharing. Thank you very much!My other car with metallic grey is almost 10 years old. The paint is still much better, just a simple wash it is shining again, so easy to clean and take care. No more white car in the rest of my life. |

QUOTE(cassplayer @ Jan 12 2018, 08:50 PM) For those who already got their car + cash rebate/freebies from your SA, how does the cash rebate work? When he ask for full amount, he will deduct cash rebate from there. My SA told me okay for cash rebate but I'd like to know when to prompt her for it (cause she just keeps saying yayayayaya I'll give you, like in an "apa-apa" attitude just so I don't ask make further inquiries) For example car RM 57,000 including insurance. Loan RM50,000. You have to pay RM7000 cash. If he promise you rebate RM100. Then you just have to pay RM6900 to get your car. |

QUOTE(hpares @ Jan 15 2018, 06:53 PM) Actually i have make up my mind to get myvi 1.5 av but it seems honda got rebate now. Any reason not to choose Honda JAZZ 1.5L S? It should be auto also right? Or kia picanto? 1st time car buyer here. How much you need to pay for Jazz 1.5L S? 2017 Year End car? To me safety is most important. Nothing is important than our life. Is you want to get Jazz, get better spec 1.5L E and so on. L S is empty. |

Wax is enough... Dont polish your car. Polish will remove the dirt at the same time remove original coating... once your car got no coating, it will be very easy to get dirty and stay ... and your paint will not long last.
I have my car 6 yrs but never polish. Still looks like new. |

Fuel consumption also related to the weight you carry. If you always carry passengers, dont expect it will have low FC. also clear all the unnecessary things from your trunk. It is important.
Some drivers claims can get FC very high is because drive alone compare to those carry family always. |
