did any of you who've changed front speakers, that have consistent issues that one of the speaker side is mute or no sound? got it fixed once, but still came back, seriously nerve cracking.

I am planning to change the stock speakers. Still on confusion.

Considering JBL STAGE 602, JBL CS762. JBL STAGE 600C component. I really wanted to have component but want to minimize additional wiring and also Since owning adv can not put tweeter on A pillar

Does someone know this carrozzeria brand any good? Never heard before.
I am looking for comparison with above

Nobody complained about the horn? Looking for a Bosch or Hella shop in PJ that won't charge a bomb.

Initially wanted to mod them to clearance lights but failed.

Got the front speaker replaced with jbl cs762
The improvement is huge. Cannot say outstanding as the HU is stock, the speaker is unable to deliver its full potential with stock HU.

Myvi front stock is 4" and rear is 6.5". So I always felt the sound is biased towards the back. Sometimes I felt that there are no speakers on the front. With this now that gap is filled and the equalizer settings became somewhat useful.

The only thing I dont like is they spliced the wire instead of connecting by connector.

Next upgrade would be underseat active sub

Few pics from the action.

Any great speakers recommendation?
Budget RM500
Wanted more for clarity and some bass

If you are a audiophile, either get some decent amp or get your HU replaced.

There is no point in investing more on speaker alone.

You need to send the car to Perodua SC.
Do not forget to bring together the tinted warranty booklet.

Does anyone here bought and currently using trapo mat? I want to know if it uses the clip lock that myvi 2018 has or it only use the velcro for anti-slip?

I'm quite impress to find out that the basic car mat given by Perodua actually uses both the clip and velcro to provide the anti slip feature.
*
Trapo mats wont come with the pin. Its just the welco

So I put trapo on top of stock one

Never heard before.
Can somebody explain what is the logic behind this.

As far as I know oil will pump only once it is cranked. That is when we start the engine.

If we push start 2 times without depressing brake, it goes to acc mode. Just like key starting.

Correct me if I am wrong

Anyone having problems of outside smell slowly seeping in? Even with the air circulation put to only inside most of the times smell from outside comes inside the car, any solution?
*
Even if the smell comes in at circulation mode, for me its normal.

Still little amount of fresh air should enter the cabin, or else we will die suffocating. The filter comes in play here. If the filter is good the smell can be reduced.

I also use this 3 step method to start my car, especially during the first start in the day.
I did that on previous cars, like Nissan Almera, Honda Vezel, Honda CR-V for sometimes and I don’t think will harm the car ...
*
Just for our mental satisfaction.

When depress the brake, if the green light is up, then the system is ready

Go to sc and ask them check. The intake valve cannot close properly. Happen before to my viva, whenever follow close to other cars or worse garbage truck, the smell will come in.
No such thing bro. If you turn off air intake from outside then there will be no air coming in to your car already. At least that is how it functions in my k3 and jazz. You will not die suffocating as long you on the air con.
*
As per your statement there has to be additional oxygen cylinder in your car bro.
The aircon just chills the air when the air passes past the coil is nt it

I don't know the science behind, but the smell from outside should not come into cabin if the air intake is turned off.

The last time this happen to my viva, I took it to sc and they fixed it. But not long after it happens again. I guess they just tighten something and over time it became loose again.

Edit: I actually did a quick search and I think this article can answer your questions.
