Credo is actually really easy to beat ... just hit his shield once ... avoid by jumping around him ( not to far ) .. once he has complete his stupid dance .. move forward and buster him ... repeat the step till you see his shield loses its barrier. Run towards him and slash him with DT mode and best part is that u can shop him with 3 to 4 combos and use a buster combo to deal even mode damage .. repeat this 3 times and he will be good as dead .... Literally ..

Credo in DMD is ok , not until you fight Nightmare in DMD , DMC 1 , the ugly green blop .

Beat it today, no damage lol. Just need to remember how much he spam the wave attack ( usually 2 or 3 time in row ), then wail him till he dead. Just started with Dante, and man even the scarecrow is troublesome compared to Nero wheres there no different even on DMD lol. But atleast Blitz and Faust is no problem now. Distoted Real Impact ftw.

err how to gain the skill point w/o hitting them?

@First question , if you want the easy way , you need to grab and hold the frost so that it act as shield . Let the scarecrows hit the frost (which now act as shield), until the frost die. In between the time , if you're not holding anything as shield , you can perform taunt or evade enemy attack to increase the stylish gauge . By the time second frost spawn , you should already be able to unlock the secret mission . If all fail , check out Youtube on how they do it .

BTW , @ DMC5 lol it will take long long time or never see the day .

A newb suggestion from a noob. If I remember correctly, holding the frost would well, kinda end up in a very very bad situation for that secret mission. Holding up a frost will easily get you hit by the scarecrows as the frost always intend to jump away from your grasp in a few seconds which will leave you vulnerable to attack .... easily. Here a hunch, why not try doing it vise versa. Holding up the scarecrow gives you unlimited holding time until the scarecrow dies This is just a noob suggestion. No flaming

I've kinda forgotten which to hold though , I remembered holding frost easier coz scarecrow attack is easier to predict . Not sure , either way let that guy experiment . Regardless , here's the video ...

If u're referring to Royal Guard method , you need to perform Royal Blocker , not the normal block . I've never try RG , but I think Royal Blocker with some taunt will do the job .

If you're good with Royal Block(or rather Just Guard as I like to call it), then just RB every attack. Mix in a little bit with Trickster, Mustang gives insane style right after you perform a Just Dash(a dash right before an enemy attack hits).

If not then do the "normal" safe way. Use Nero and hold a scarecrow/frost, let enemies attack until it dies. Remember to taunt as well. If you don't have Table Hopper, a Just Roll(roll right before an enemy attack hits) will also increase your style.

Anyway is it worth it to "master" the exceed system ah? It seems damn hard to use ... and so far I've been doing fine without it (but of cos devil hunter mode only la)
