i knew something was off this past week ive been getting really poor life out of my huawei p10. but this morning after about half an hour of surfing the net, battery drops about 11%, only then i remembered to check the batteru usage in the settings and to.my suprise mymaxis app had taken a huge majority of the usage of battery see pic. i wasnt even using the app actively in any way. there is data usage notification which i thought was convenient so i left it. But not at a huge cost to battery like this. im sure this is not intended, just letting everyone know so that a fix would be coming see pic Attached thumbnail(s)

Turn off the location and notification for this app.
It constantly track your location, so that it will notify you the nearest Maxis Deal.

tracking location is fine. many other apps does it, especially googles.. tracking location cause 70mah battery consumption? thats a bug

Make sure you are on Maxis network and not WiFi when you launch the app. I have Maxis app on both mine and wife phone but no such thing happen. I only disable notifications to hide the ugly data counter.
What I did noticed was that whenever you’re not on Maxis network aka WiFi, it will spin continuously like it don’t have internet. Once you turn off WiFi, everything will return to normal.
