I read thru the difference between Qualcomm vs Intel chipset (modem) and it seems the US (Qualcomm) model is more compatible worldwide. Price is great as well (even for Simfree model). Very tempted to get one for my wife but worry about the warranty. Can we claim warranty of US model in Apple Store Malaysia if anything happens?

Technically, I would choose the US set. How about local market for used in Malaysia, say 2-3 years down the road, we wanted to sell iPhoneX to upgrade, is there acceptable market for used US IphoneX set?

Anyone with experience here can comment?

i read earlier that us 4g is different than malaysia 4g
they said us iphone sometimes cannot get 4g signal in malaysia
can anyone confirm this?
if the chip is better in us set, shouldnt it be better too in malaysia?

More to do with the band than the chip, I think. If you get a US SIM free one then shouldn’t be a problem.
