Honestly the open on spot to check request quite impossible for the delivery guy and highly chance will get problem with the delivery guy.
I think you can do is check if whether is sealed box only and then i think the guy will ask you to sign.
Open box if find the problem or scratches,then I think you need to contact Lazada to make the exchange since they offer the 14 days return due to Damaged/Defective.

This is also happen in most of the apple shop/maxis/celcom/digi in Malaysia.Some is directly ask you claim warranty even DOA.Some is good with change for you.But if you walk out from the store,all complain will go to warranty claim.

The only way you can avoid all the problem is go to apple store singapore/hong kong/china/japan or buy it through APPLE ONLINE STORE MALAYSIA.

So if u find scratches you can decline it?

reset all content and settings then restore... most of the time it solve all the problems, if problem still persist after that then bring back to service centre...
i got mine from maxis and that guy told me if u find even a minot scratch, if you're not happy, i'll swap a new one for u.. that's klcc though.. maybe better service..

well of course cant get 100% flawless.. as long as it looks ok to us, no major problems or obvious scratches, can power on and no issue with screens, then i'll go (of coz wont inspect the phone kaw kaw in front of the CS), probably took me like 20 secs to look around the phone and then i say ok looks good, don't even need to activate it, i'll bring it back home to do it myself
I never used any 4.7" iphones, from 5s straight to 6 plus.... so i probably wont know much about the size on 4.7" and the battery.... so its definitely huge diff for me/us (alot of people here with similar experience). but the X screen is definitely smaller than the plus despite written 5.8" on paper... basically its smaller because the screen is thinner but taller (taller coz it fits more things in screen, but convert everything smaller)... if u put an x and plus side by side, same picture same surface, u will notice the image on the x is about 20% smaller than the plus...

The reason I'm asking is cos not all can hold the weight of the phone... And I don't want it to drop while going on a bump or something like that...
