Just ignore such. I had also received emails saying I had bought gift cards . All these needed me to log in to verify again. By so doing your user ID and password will be captured. If in doubt just contact Apple directly through their official site

My ip8+ on 11.2.2 I noted battery drain overnight had increased up to 3-4% . Nothing of serious concern but goes to show the firmware isn't as energy efficient as previously?

Firmware 11.2.2 is erratic in standby battery drain. Was getting 3-4% first 2 days, 2% the next and horror last night 6%!!
Only significant negative of this firmware
Hope subsequent update will improve it
Gone are the days of 0-1% drain !!

Overnight ( 8 hours) battery drain on 11 2.2 was 4% last nite
Looks like s a degradation vs previous firmware
Anyway no serious big issue for me
One night I tested with both wifi n LTE off it drained 1%

My point is in previous firmwares of even all my previous iPhones standby drain is usually zero and few times maximum 1% only even with apps left open

I am sensitive to display size. I bought the ip8+ because visually is bigger. Another reason was I couldn't accept local ipX pricing

For the first time I switched off all background app refresh before going to sleep. This morning battery drain still at 3%

My ip8+ on 11.2.2 and generally battery drain on standby is worse than previously ( 0 to 1%). However as said it is still acceptable to me. Both wifi n LTE are left switched on.

On ip8, Potrait mode if you select on front camera will auto default to rear camera

Do stay away from 11.2.2 for now. Not worth to upgrade. I was trying to install profile but just failed . I was thinking of upgrading to 11.2.5 beta6 which was working fine on my iPad mini 4
For now just need to wait better upgrade from Apple. Phone had been cranky too last few days with home button insensitive. Seriously thinking of hard reset it too

I am going to do a factory reset of my ip8+ later today. The overnight battery drain overnight with both wifi/LTE on is getting ridiculous . It used to be 3-4% but past 3 days it was 6-7% !!! Firmare 11.2.2 isn't energy efficient as previous

Finally i manage to install profile through Safari
Just finished installing 11.2.5 beta7 firmware. Hope it fare better than 11.2.2. This beta firmware works well on my iPad mini4.
