3 days using ios 11.2.1

what i can say.. it is really good! battery life superb then 11.2   

left home around 2am and battery 90%

mobile legend 6 games...total around 2 hour.

youtube,fb and whatsapp and spotify

got back around 10.30am.. battery life left 38%   

So What Do You Get?

Unlike iOS 11.2, the smaller iOS 11.2.1 adds no new features and has been quickly rolled out specifically to fix bugs introduced in the previous release (yes, this has become something of a vicious circle). As such Apple’s release notes simply state:

“iOS 11.2.1 fixes bugs including an issue that could disable remote access to shared users of the Home app”

Short and sweet. The good news is this fix seems to work. But, as always, Apple is playing coy. There’s also a secret fix in iOS 11.2.1 for the camera blur bug iOS 11.2 introduced for some iPhone X, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus users and - potentially - under the hood battery tweaks given the positive responses I’m seeing from some users online.

Why doesn’t Apple declare every fix in every iOS update? Because declaring every fix means acknowledging every bug. It’s smart marketing.

Meanwhile Apple’s official security page confirms iOS 11.2.1 contains nothing new. This isn’t surprising since security updates are usually issued every 6-8 weeks and Apple is pushing iOS updates at a rate of almost once a week at present.

It depends on your luck too.
You were lucky to have a stable IOS 11.1.1, while some hit problem.
I had problem with IOS 11 on the 6S. I have to keep chasing for new updates.
Now with IOS 11.2.1 it looks stable.
For the SE, I stayed back with IOS 10.3.3

you can downgrade firmware in couple of mins 

I think 11.2 is perfect on an 8plus tbh... at least better than 11.1.1 for sure from what others have shared hehe

backup cannot be restored on earlier version.

as long as u backup 11.1.1, then upgrade to 11.2 and perform another backup ( now u have 2 backups = 1 for 11.2 and another older for 11.1.1), once u downgrade ios, u can backup the older one.... hmmm its very easy to downgrade firmware, but first u need to make sure the firmware u wanna downgrade is still signed by ipsw (https://ipsw.me/ = check availability). if its not signed means cannot downgrade..

EDIT: just checked 11.1 is not signed anymore... so yea u cant downgrade it..

im also as particular as you when it comes to battery and performance, but trust me bro I think 11.2 is a good move for you (iphone 8plus), other models I dare not say but from all the reviews so far, I think its a must get... though I wont hold any responsibility if it doesn't turn out well on your device, coz u know ... luck.... 

it is different command in i8/+ & X.it is a bit tricky compared to earlier models.

follow this:
press volume up 1 time,
press volume down 1 time,
long press power button until your screen show up apple logo

edit: you have to do the above steps quickly. press and release quickly on each volume button.

it won't harm your phone, don't worry. this function is meant to design for us to clean up/restart phone.
whenever you found that your phone is slowing down, heat up for no reason etc issue, you can always try with these method first before proceed for checking in service center.

Dont worry. Apple will slow down your phone from time to time to keep your battery life longer.

Can u guys recommend a clear transparent casing for 8 plus that won't cause bubble at the back? I've seen a lot of case but some people said that it cause bubble when they put it on. Also, my budget is tight, thus the cheaper the better >.<
