Since this is posted here, I'm assuming hers is also a 8 or 8 Plus? Try to restart the phone, could be a software glitch.

Ya, sold it off before I tried the Xs Max and then passed that to my wife before moving to the Xr.

I’d also recommend the Xr over the Xs Max simply due to the performance to price value it offers.

Yea, I totally have the same thoughts as yours. If i dont carry my 8+, i will get Xr this time round, but nah, too early yet for upgrade. Maybe next series.

sometimes ios is crazy. overnight 7 hours my battery drop from 98% to 80%. didn't install any new apps. don't know what causes the wakelock

Check your battery usage, you should be able to see which app has high background activity.

for 8+. anyone know how much to replace the Backplate?
lets say the glass totally shattered and bend a little bit on the frame.

Front glass totally fine and touch ID is working without issue.

Batt at 90% bro.. yup on 12.1.1 screen on time around 6.5 hours

Initially i can easily get SOT around 8-10hours but at battery health 90% also its even hard to get 7 hours. (Still on iOS11)

Not sure if ios12 is worse haha.

How bout XR attw ???

XR battery last more than 12 hours.
XS max can easily settle in 5 hours only.

Based on my usage, I can do more than 4 hours SOT and 24 hours standby with about 52% battery remaining. I’m pretty sure the phone can do 8 hours SOT but I’m not that heavy of a user laugh.gif
