What’s the likelihood Apple will adjust iPhone 8/X pricing in Malaysia? At current pricing just makes me scared to buy one and then few weeks later Apple drops the price. Sure feel regret.

iPhone 8 $699 = RM2723 + 6% GST
iPhone 8 Plus $799 = RM3113 + 6% GST
iPhone X = $999 = RM3893 + 6% GST

Unlikely drop more than 200 until we see new phones in September

I'm using UAG Plasma.. good enough if you're on a budget. Monarch has double the fall protection of Plasma.

ok la if you dropped your phone (slightly higher/harder than usual) something outside/inside pecah.. it's gonna costs way more than RM159 to fix.

for a phone you bought for RM3k+ why wanna save this money? It's insurance for your phone basically.

In terms of how careful I am with my phones I rate my self a 8/10, but yea shit still happens.

Examples of past "accidents" with smartphones:
1. Accidently dropped from my pocket while sitting down,
2. While driving put on passenger seat the phone flew forward when emergency break..
3. Dropped from my hands accidentally due to slippery or clumsy times..
4. While carry something and holding my phone somehow lost grip of it.
5. Dropping it on the road while entering car holding it in my hands... screen protector shattered due to road's surface.

So far this iPhone 8 plus adi dropped twice lol both with UAG on.. can tell u the sound of it dropping is not as painful and "nicer" to hear... not as loud a "thud as normal case. Phone also still ok working as normal.

Maybe because the official price difference between X and 8 is about RM2000. Also, i think regular consumer is willing to pay about RM3000 for a phone but not willing to go any higher than that. At RM5000, rather buy a Macbook than an iPhone X

hi guys, just got my iphone 8 plus, however, i noticed that the screen is warmer (aka yellow screen) than my old iphone 6 plus, i already closed true tone and nightshift, is this normal?

why apple did this ..... i already get used to iphone 6 plus screen with cool color .....

true but in most cases the screen most likely will crack when the phone drops and hit the edges. anyway, i already prepared do a screen replacement at least once in the 2 years period due to damaged screen.

2.6gb used, 1.2GB for phone back up. 1.1gb for pictures and video.

been using iphone 8 plus for 3 days, notice that overnight battery drop around 4% (7 hours), when i using my old iphone 6 plus, the battery just drop 1% overnight, is it because the battery in iphone 8 plus smaller?

Thats why must have good iphone casing, using uag now. Its only minimise the risk, not 100% save but at least wont damage the iphone.
